Customer Service

home health aide walks with senior with walkerDependable Home Care has an extensive customer care program that is designed to ensure that we provide the best possible patient care, and that we can do so under any contingency.

Performance Improvement Program

As a means to maintaing our high standards in quality home health care, we've implemented a program that elicits feedback from our patients and their families. The program calls for periodic review of feedback from various sources including patient surveys, and improvement in our performance is built into the process.

Contact Form

Communication is always important for any organization. In patient care, it is critical. At Dependable Home Care, we take this very seriously. One of several ways to contact us is through our online contact form on this web site. Of course, if you have more immediate and pressing issues, you can call us using the contact phone number that is displayed at the bottom of every web page.

Disaster / Emergency Preparedness

Dependable Home Care has given much consideration to handling of emergency and disaster events. Some of our documented responses are drawn from real experience, having been a home health care provider operating in the New York City area for over twenty years. Fortunately, we've not had to cope with all the emergency events we've documented.

The procedures in the Emergency / Disaster Preparedness document are reviewed anually and revised as needed. All of our staff have a copy of this document, and are required to read it periodically. In the event of disaster, the procedures in place ensure that the patients in our care are not abandoned.

Patient's Rights

As a home health care recipient, our patients have clearly defined right. Our Patient Bill of Rights document clearly states those rights so that our patients can be informed. The document also has agencies to contact should the feel that their rights have not been respected. The document also states the patient's responsibilities in seeing to it that those rights are respected, and that our staff can continue to serve them with the best possible care.
